After its world premiere in June, Volvo's EX30, its most economical electric SUV, has revealed its official launch date and price for Mexico. This proposal from Volvo promises to revolutionize the electric vehicle market with a minimalist design and a competitive price.

Key Aspects of the VOLVO EX30:

Design and Dimensions: Although it resembles a mini-SUV, the EX30's specifications are robust. The wheelbase is 2,649 mm, compared to 2,766 mm for the Volkswagen ID.4. In addition, it measures 4,233 mm long, slightly shorter than Volvo's XC40.

Mechanics: It will be available in two variants, both with an electric motor and rear-wheel drive. The differences lie in the battery, with 51 kWh and 69 kWh versions. It can be charged to 80% in just 26.5 minutes, with a range of up to 476 km in its extended range version.

Interiors: Stands out for its sober and functional design. It has a single 12.3-inch central infotainment screen with Google integration. In addition, it includes a sound bar signed by Harman Kardon. It is important to mention the use of sustainable materials such as denim, linen and wool with recycled polyester inside. Approximately 17% of all plastics used are recycled, a record for the brand.

Price and Launch: The EX30 will be available in Mexico in the second quarter of 2024. Pre-sale begins on September 15 and will end on November 15. Prices start at 649,900 pesos in its Core version, 729,900 pesos for the Plus and 799,900 pesos for the Ultra.
