The First NEVI (National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure) Funded Site in the Country - if this is a sign of things to come in public EV fast charging!
The Good:
(4) 350kW plugs available (unsure if stations split power, but NEVI rules don't allow below 150kW per port simultaneously
- Canopy!!
- Trash cans
- Easy access to Arby's and Pilot Travel Center
The Bad:
- Parking is adjacent to the Arby's drive through
- Cables on stations are VERY heavy (cable management only)
- Pull in stations, no options for trailers
Still many things that could be changed or improved here, but these fast charging sites are quickly getting better & better - I'm ready for aspects of this site to become standard on future sites.
