I really wish more people understood this. Range anxiety and the "Lack of Infrastructure" arguments just do not apply for most drivers. If we just added 110V/12A outlets to the carports of existing apartment complexes, we'd have charging available for those who've been left behind in this EV Revolution in transportation!


We Need More Slow Charging!

If you wonder why sales of EV are dipping, one of the reasons is that we aren’t really serving a huge swath of the population right now. I’ve seen some version of this many times, and I’ve even done it myself.

Fast charging is great for long trips and large commercial vehicles, full stop.

For everyone else we need a safe and ubiquitous combination of Level 1 (120V) and Level 2 (240V). And if you say, “Level 1 doesn’t work”, I’ll show you 12 years of charging my cars that says it does (for a lot of people).
